Course Content
This Diabetes and Insulin Awareness course caters for those who are responsible for or working with people with diabetes to ensure you look after the welfare and well-being of individuals with the condition. This includes healthcare professionals not specialising in diabetes.
The course aims to teach the students on how to recognise the signs and symptoms of diabetes, signs of complications, to raise awareness of treatments and to build confidence in staff when caring for and supporting those suffering from diabetes.
Course Assessment and Certification
Assessment:The trainer will check understanding, involvement and the ability of all students throughout the duration of the course.
Certification:On successful completion of the course students will receive a certificate which is valid for 1 year.
